Becoming a student ambassador was a different experience for me. It allowed me to network among ambassadors and new students at the University. There were several moments where I learned valuable knowledge about my University and was able to improve my skills. 

Leadership skills also require public speaking and I can achieve that leadership skill from a public speaking opportunity. As a former student ambassador, I was able to speak in front of different people and  students on weekly basis. This gave an opportunity to develop leadership skills.
